My award winning, unique style of photography suits the fun-loving couples who seek adventure in whatever form that may be, who live and love hard and embrace life fully.
I photograph Outdoor Weddings far and wide, a childhood dream in your parents garden, the country house you love to visit at the weekend, or a beautiful ceremony under a tree in the heart of nature.
I have also been known to shed a tear or two behind my lens, as I become SO fully invested with you both during the experience.
It’s not about staged perfection but about documenting your story – the emotion, energy, and in-between moments that make your day uniquely yours. I don’t follow trends but simply want to capture you on the happiest of days with everyone you love and care about in my uniquely warm, timeless style.
I let moments unfold naturally but realise that sometimes a little bit more direction is needed during the couple portraits part of the day. I can make people feel at ease as well as sharing a few giggles and encorage a hug or a hand in pocket so nothing needs to be or feel awkward.
Little moments have a big impact
If there’s one piece of advice I’d give to newly engaged couples, it’s this – soak up every moment of your wedding day and don’t live it for social media! While the dramatic show-stopping picture of you as a newlywed couple is the one you are obessed with and will hang on your wall for decades, you will also love flicking through your entire photo album to re-live your own full story time and time again.
The little moments, the unplanned ones, are the memories you’ll want to keep with you and you can’t fake them, they have to organically unfold. It all passes in a whirlwind, and that’s why I’m here. To catch those fleeting moments so you can hold onto them forever.
Drone wedding photography
Drone wedding photography offers a unique point of view of your celebration and is lovely to be able to capture your venue for you from the sky. If the weather and venue permit, I will do my best to capture some images by drone to be included within your gallery.
Destination wedding photography
Are you planning to have your ceremony abroad? Don’t let a language barrier add stress to your celebration. Instead, bring the best wedding photographer in the UK along with you!
I have limited slots each year for destination wedding photography, and I have even travelled as far as Australia for the right couples. I am open to bookings in France, Italy, Austria, Germany, Norway, Iceland, Canada…you name it and I can be there! If you’d like to discuss this in more detail, please get in touch.
Frequently asked questions
When will we receive our gallery?
I will try to get your 'Sneaky Peeks' out to you within the week of your wedding as I know you will be itching to see some highlights of your day. For all weddings and elopements, your final delivery can vary, depending on when in the season I am editing your images. This could be anything between 3 and 12 weeks. I will always keep you updated about where you are in the queue, so a rough time frame will be given and updated as I go.
How many images will we receive?
Your gallery will be filled with photos from throughout the day. I say I capture at least 500 images during the day but it's often more as I only really remove photo's you wouldn't want or need such as duplicates or people blinking. As a note, I never give the RAW files to my couples as they are massively large files that won't open unless you have the right software and editing know-how. You pay for my expertise to capture and to edit to my own unique romantic style.
Will you travel for our wedding?
I sure do! Though I am based on the edge of the Peak District on the Yorkshire/ Derbyshire border, 'm happy to travel anywhere and also have limited availability for destination wedding photography throughout the year. Get in touch to discuss this in more detail.
How long in advance should I reserve my wedding date?
If you're thinking of having your wedding on a Saturday, then earlier is better! Generally speaking, as soon as you've booked your venue, you should begin your search for a wedding photographer and put down a deposit as soon as you can.
How do I reserve you for my date?
