Well, that’s quite the claim… but it happened! I not only became a finalist but was named the best UK Wedding Photographer of 2025 by Weddings and Honeymoons Magazine and is such an INCREDIBLE honour!
Every photographer hopes to leave their mark with images that not only resonate with their clients but also stand out amongst their peers. For me, it’s always been about creating honest, meaningful photographs that feel true to each couple in my own unique style and way.

Photography has played an important part in my life and I have been professionally taking photos for almost 19 years. In my early career, I focused on family photography along with taking on a limited amount of Weddings each year on the side, which worked well around being a busy mother of four.
Now that my children are grown, I’ve been able to focus fully on refining my warm, organic natural style influenced by many years of capturing portraits in The Peak District. With this I have also been able to refocus my efforts into what I love most, that being a wedding photographer who works across the UK as well as world, but can easily access more local venues and locations in Yorkshire, Derbyshire and The Cotswolds as my most popular.
It’s a privilege to be invited into such an intimate moment of a couple’s journey, and it’s not a responsibility I take lightly. Alongside my professional experience and credentials (such as my first class honours degree in Commercial Photography), I bring a steady presence, I’m your biggest hpye girl, we have lots of laughs and an ability to read a room, knowing when to blend into the background and when to offer gentle direction.
The result is photographs that feel genuine, effortless, and capture the atmosphere of your day.
My Inspiration...
Having spent my childhood in Scotland and Norway I’ve always loved the awe and beauty of the mountains. I also feel freedom and joy when I immerse myself in nature and feel that this should be accessible to everyone. My style has developed over many years and refined more so after photographing in the wilds of the Peak District.
As someone who adores the natural beauty of the Peaks, I’m proud to be a ‘Peak Partner’ of the Peak District National Park Foundation. From every booking, I donate a portion to the Foundation, to a total of £500 a year, towards the upkeep of the National Park so that everyone can enjoy the pleasure of it for many years to come.
